Cost page with zero spending value

Within the admin dashboard interface of the Open AI website, there is an interesting ‘bug’ I encountered.
For quite some time, I have seen that the stats under the ‘activity’ tab on the usage page are good, but under ‘cost’ I see a stable $0, despite using the API continuously.
This morning I ran out of my previously purchased credit limit and got the error message.
I looked at https://platform.openai.com/usage, it still showed zero.
Then I went from the document pages linked in the error message to the address below:
https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/usage

Here it was showing a real value instead of 0.
Organization is the same as the other url.
The only difference is that the url path is extended with the /settings/organization/ directories.

I wrote this down so that if other users run into this error, the information might be helpful to them.

I have the same problem since December 2024, I informed openai, I sent a screenshot and video of the problem. I tested on different machines (linux, windows, iphone) and I did the manipulations requested by openai but the problem was not resolved. They told me that they will inform their engineering team, but the bug has been persisting for 1 month now, I cannot see the “cost”, everything else works but not the “cost” which is blank.

I have experienced the same thing. Thanks for the other link, so at least I can see the costs.

Tip: Maybe the confusion is caused by the fact that I started using the API before Org was released… I am not currently using the Org.
