Cost of making Public GPT

I have just made a GPT but I havent made it public yet because I am not sure if it will cost me when others use it.

Will I be billed if others use it ? and if yes then how should I understand an estimate of what cost it will incur to me ?

You will not be billed when others use your public GPT.

Exception: If your GPT links to an external API that you pay for, then costs could be incurred, but not from OpenAI.

Fair point!

This is the more correct, complete answer.

If your GPT incurs a per use cost to you because of external actions, you will incur those same costs whenever anyone causes your GPT to invoke those same actions.

But, (unless one of those actions is calling an OpenAI API) OpenAI will not charge you for anyone else using your GPT.
