Concern Regarding Access to Sora Video Generation Feature

Hello OpenAI Team and Community,

I hope you’re doing well.

I recently subscribed to the ChatGPT Plus plan ($20/month) specifically because I was interested in accessing the Sora video generation feature. Unfortunately, after subscribing, I was unable to access Sora at all, even though my payment was successfully processed.

A few days later, I was finally able to log in, but I was surprised and disappointed to receive the following message when trying to generate a video:

“Video generation is temporarily disabled for new accounts.”

This limitation was not mentioned anywhere during the upgrade process, nor was I warned about it before subscribing. I feel quite misled, and I’m very concerned and disappointed.

Could you please clarify the following:

  • When will Sora video generation be enabled for new accounts?
  • Will this feature be available for me soon?

ANY SUGGESTION TO USE ANY OTHER AI WHICH MAKE VIDEOS LIKE SORA

Same issue here. Has anyone found a solution or any new information? Screening this post to preserve. Very interesting how there has been absolutely no responses over these past 13 day since this was posted.

This issue is currently keeping me from going ahead and paying for plus as well.
