Hello OpenAI Team and Community!

The subscription page for the Plus plan states that it includes access to Sora video generation.

However, after subscribing, I received a message saying: “Video generation is temporarily disabled for new accounts.”

There was no mention of this restriction before payment, and the benefits list clearly implies immediate access. Please address this discrepancy.

I’m not a new account, but I still can’t access Sora video generation. The support team hasn’t responded to me.I’ve canceled my subscription. This feels like a scam.

I reached OpenAI Support and they respond that there is no option for refund. :confused:

I have exact same issue, I have been trying to access video generation feature for a while and it’d disabled for me, I wasnt aware of this before making payment.

Same here. Account has been created since Early 2024 and subscribed to GPT Plus Since June 2024. I understand the high demand and a cooldown of a week after sign up but this is not normal at this point. Like many others.

I think OpenAI have some problem with resource due to high traffics.
You can use KlingAI for video gen. I used it and it was quite good.
