Chatgpt says I can download my document but it is always empty

Please assist in how to actually getting a word document to download from chatgpt. It says it has a document to download but then is empty. If you could share what i need to do to view

You are not alone about this problem, also, I have this problem time to time, too.

To download file on ChatGPT you should use one of:

  • GPT-4
  • GPT-4o
  • Custom GPT which has actived “Code - Interpreter & Data Analysis tool”

But:

  • GPT-4 mini is not able to do it.

Tell to ChatGPT:

Save the Microsoft Word format file, then provide the link for/to download

Sometimes, it can hallucinates and gives a link before saving, therefore remind to “SAVE” it first.
