I am developing a nautical AI assistant who keeps track of issues onboard and outside. I have noticed in the last week whilst programming that it struggles a lot with building cohesive syntax in json files. Although I’m not an expert programmer in python3 and json, I need to read every line of syntax and any suggested block of syntax to be pasted into a system config json file has failed in the last 2 weeks requiring hours of work to find out and rectify. The only way it worked was to have GPT create the full json file and replace the old one. tedious work!! Yesterday it failed completely to build any files, just chucking out rubbish and when I challenged it I’m being told I deserve better by GPT on a constant basis. I use GPTplus. Have other developers experienced similar issues? This is my first month programming with GPT and although during some moments it’s a genius, mostly it’s hard work and it feels like working with a confused entity, definitely not acting as an assistant or valued resource. Any ideas on how I could improve the situation or is what I describe the benchmark?
