I just wanted to let the OpenAI staff know that ChatGPT’s knowledge of languages helped me solve a 1600 year old problem.

Years ago, I was translating an Armenian text and ran across a word that was crucial to my research. Yes, just one word.

I’ve worked on it on and off for years and made some progress, but it was ChatGPT that helped me finally solve the riddle.

Thank you, OpenAI team!

Admins should contact me about this. It would make a great news story about how ChatGPT can be used for research.
