I was going to suggest using WinGet but it appears that others might have spoofed the ChatGPT name.
ChatGPT app is installed on my Windows 10 and 11 machines and both machines list it as installed using winget list chatgpt but that was via the Windows App store. So wiget is aware of it being a valid app, however using winget install chatgpt shows
C:\Users\Groot>winget install chatgpt
Multiple packages found matching input criteria. Please refine the input.

ChatGPT j178.ChatGPT winget
ChatGPT lencx.ChatGPT winget
chatgpt sonnylab.chatgpt winget
which is very suspicious.
This is what one should see after using the Windows App Store
C:\Users\Groot>winget list ChatGPT
