Submission process seems a little rough:

  • Doesn’t work in Safari (some of the controls on the prompt examples screen don’t work)
    • Worked okay in Chrome
  • Did the business verification and it says it was “complete” but I can’t get past the final submission step because it says it’s not complete. No email or anything that something is pending so unclear what comes next.

I went through the Business verification - It said I completed in the Persona flow, but on the dashboard it still has ‘start’ as an option. It doesn’t say it is in process, or completed, and I have received no emails re status.

Same for me re: biz verification. Completed the process, Persona had me close the window but then nothing.

Commerce and monetization

Currently, apps may conduct commerce only for physical goods. Selling digital products or services—including subscriptions, digital content, tokens, or credits—is not allowed, whether offered directly or indirectly (for example, through freemium upsells).

Such a irony that most of the feature apps are digital goods e.g spotify, figma, conva, lovable

AGI to benefit some

Can’t submit more than one test case, the other sections don’t open the drop down menu.

I had that problem when using Safari. When I switched to Chrome, it worked.

Oh okay I’ll give it a try, thank you!

@PaulBellow Can you explain if we can or cannot publish any app with subscriptions?

Exciting news and a lot of us have been waiting. We all have great ideas to finally get submitted. I do see that you are not allowing digital products/subs because I would imagine that feature is still being built out and would take some time. When I read through some of the checklist, I wanted to know if it is acceptable to allow the subs to happen outside of ChatGPT and on a website. I did not know if you were just simply not allowing subs within ChatGPT itself.

Super excited to get our app published into the ChatGPT app store!

When going through the publish steps, the “Scan Tools” button with proper OAuth credentials, a new tab is opening with an empty state with no tools scanned.

We’re seeing the OAuth flow getting through to generate a link, but the response has linkId: null. We’re seeing a flash of a “Page not found” with a 401 when loading the OpenAI /dashboard/user/api_keys in the dev tools.

We also tried using a new project in case there was something on the other project that was busted.

It looks like the Dashboard page is expecting a Bearer token somewhere along the flow? Any advice on how to proceed?

EDIT: this seems to be resolved now, thanks OpenAI team!

Thanks for the info. I had the same problem!

RESOLVED: the Organization could not be verified but I verified myself as solo dev ….

My business verification just went through - this problem may be fixed.

Nice work that is a really useful tool for building style apps.
Thanks for sharing the repo I will take a look.

That is great news thanks for the update.
Hopefully that means the issue is fully resolved now.
