I’ve been trying since Friday, still no luck. It gets stuck at ~20% and if I leave the chat and return it shows a button “Starting… 0“ and stays there forever.

Same, tried everything with no success as well. I guess they are reallocating the deep research for the war resources and not for our normal customers

Same issue here and trying to restart it multiple time ran out of the full-model deep research queries :person_facepalming:

Looks like openai lately set the top priority for the company to be the shittiest ai company of all

I NEVER use the deep resarch function, when i decide to use once in like 6 months i get freaking stuck for more than 2 hours waiting for a freaking research that never happened, they not even bother to give an error message, I’m just looking stupid at the screen waiting for something to happen

In the meanwhile gemini deepresearch doing incredible, it’s incredible how openai services quality dropped DRAMATICALLY downhill in the last couple months

I sent them the requested screen recording the system recording. So far still no solution, Claude “Research” is working very good, I never tried it before.

There is a way to report a Bug inside the ChatGPT UI,

I did it there. Maybe if more people try to use that route they solve it faster:

I am having the same issue with Plus - also from Brazil. I have reported it already with no response as of yet. Has anyone heard back from OpenAI?

The biggest problem is losing all the investigations (advanced deep research mode) because we kept testing to see if the issue was on our end. They should restore the number of searches and even give a bonus. extremely frustrating.

I’m having the same issue as the OP, plus failed deep research consumed my tokens (??). Pls get your s*** together and provide a solution.
