Today, I attempted to add funds to my OpenAI account for the first time, but my card was repeatedly declined. Despite this, it appears that money has been deducted from my bank account, yet my OpenAI account does not show any credit balance. Can someone explain how this might be possible? Is the amount supposed to be visible immediately, or is there a waiting period? Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to reach support, so I’m hoping someone here can help me resolve this. Thank you!

I’d also second by phoning your bank. At the very least they can do charge backs if deemed appropriate.
If it 20 a month and you got 5 transactions totalling 100 then would appear a mistake?
Also best advice I can give is ask the AI, as a free user you always get to ask a serious question every 3 hours.
The AI knows better than the humans most of the time lol
the same happened to me. Money was taken from the account but 0 credit appears in openai. One of the worst online payment experiences ever.
this is not only a support question. It is raising major issues with a buggy platform.
