I can’t upload PDF any more since today (28-10-2024) is anyone facing the same issue ? It shows a message " An error has occurred "

Just uploaded a PDF just under 1 MB in size to ChatGPT on a web page from my local computer.
Asked ChatGPT to summarize and it worked as expected.
Were any of those options different for you?
Does signing in on another device or deleting older chats cause this issue ?
Is that a web page? A desktop app?
Have you tried
- restarting the app or page
- requesting new IP address, e.g.
ipconfig /renew - rebooting the router
- rebooting the machine
It should work, currently it seems the problem is on your end and/or downstream of OpenAI.

The error really does not help. If this is a web page I would use F12 to see the web page dev tools and look for any error or messages.
