After I spent over $5, I still haven’t been Tier1.
I’m currently in a very urgent situations that really need to access the realtime models that can only be accessed under Tier1.
Please help!!!

Ensure that you have actually gone through and completed “purchasing credits” instead of simply “adding payment method”.
It is easy to be confused, because simply adding the payment method has OpenAI running a $5 card authorization that shows up in online banking also for a week or so depending on the bank.
The solution would be for OpenAI to change the auth amount to something recognizable like $1.23, and not also the minimum credit purchase amount.
In the platform site, “Billing, overview” should show your current account balance. Check that.
“Limits” should show the list of models, and has “show more” to see extras granted. Tier appears at the bottom.
It also happens occasionally (and sometimes at long length for all users) that the initial purchase does indeed not increase tier, or even unlock a new account at all. Self-service after you have checked everything else is to purchase another $5.12 or recognizable amount in credits if you will spend them within a year before they expire.
