Hi @erdemnayir

Welcome :people_hugging: to the community.

Similar topic you may find here:

@polepole This is not similar. You shared that topic to another post too, but that is from February. Back then they didn’t have Turkiye in VAT system. But with today’s e-mail, apparently they implement it now.

I also tried to update my billing setting but yes, there is no option for Turkiye.

Merhaba @alioguzhan

Hoşgelmişsin :people_hugging: to the community!

Have you tried to contact to OpenAI Support on HELP page?

You can chat with OpenAI support team via chatbot.

Also, I set my address as TĂźrkiye to test it, but as you and others mentioned, there is no TĂźrkiye and its VAT.

We receive an e-mail about our country’s specific requests for taxing. You are informing all users, since you are legally bound to do so. But why, when informing, don’t you guys provide a link for us to quickly add our VAT information? Even after finding the “right” place where the VATs are managed, why don’t we see Türkiye’s VAT option? Why is it not available? I believe if you guys don’t get to add Turkey, you’ll face many issues with many users and when you try to charge them more, since they haven’t been able to add their VAT information, all these users are going to be very upset. If, in my case, I get charged more, even though I tried to add my VAT information maybe 15 times since I was given notice, I’ll definitely consider having a word with my lawyer and proceed according to the Turkish Law. So hopefully, the developers or whoever is responsible will be able to add Turkey’s VAT on their systems before everyone is charged more and inform all users where we all can update our billing information accordingly. I wish some serious sense into whoever is responsible from this issue and hope it will get cleared out in a short while. I don’t want to have to explain why we are paying more to my accountant by saying “there were no available options for Turkey, even though the whole mail was about Turkey.” PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP. I don’t want to have to waste another minute of my time trying to do the lawfully right thing and failing, and knowing that I’d get charged more as long as I’m failing. It’s unfair, time-consuming, and potentially very very very harmful to your audience in Turkey. Please just add the country to the list and KEEP US FULLY INFORMED. PLEASE.
