I currently have a ChatGPT Teams subscription which works pretty well for managing my company, but I’d like to upgrade a few of the accounts to Pro, but not all of them. Any word on if this is possible?

The ChatGPT Team subscription is designed for collaborative use, but ChatGPT Pro is intended for individual users.
On the HELP page there is a short explanation but maybe it does not cover your question fully for “a few of the accounts to Pro, but not all of them”.

This needs to get FIXED ASAP. I can’t cancel my existing subscription. It has hundreds of chats that are important to my company and some custom GPT’s as well.
Come on guys, Don’t offer a Pro plan without allowing people that went over to Team to also upgrade as well.

Adding my support for this. I’m not sure how to have both a teams account and a pro account, but this is what I need. Preferably to just upgrade my team user to pro and any other team members as well on an individual user basis only.

Reiterating that Teams users should be able to update to ChatGPT Pro! I want to use Deep Research inside of my Teams account. Has anyone contacted OpenAI about this?

Agreed and requesting support for Pro accounts for users in teams. Preferably to where a specific user amongst the team can be upgraded.

I’d like to register my vote for this, too. I would upgrade immediateoy if it were available. I realize I could create another account, but that’s too much hassle to manage two accounts—not to mention expensive.

Casting my vote here too. Teams individual licensing capabilities would be ideal.

Adding myself here. Sometimes it feels that companies are left behind, even if they invest more than single users on licenses.

It’s silly and aggravating, that we must cancel our team accounts or use a separate account to purchase pro. This needs to change.

How much money is OpenAI leaving on the table to not allow teams to do this…??
Seems like a no-brainer for the PM to bump to the top of the list!
Absolutely should be on the roadmap! We would love to upgrade certain users to the PRO capabilities as it is easily worth the money. But leaving chats and Custom GPTs behind by leaving the TEAMS version for it seems like a bad solution.
Currenlty we might just purchase additional PRO licences by adding a fake user name for an existing collegue.

The same is for me, I need to upgrade individual Chat Gpt Team users to Pro version but not all of them.
