I’m trying to build a couple of plugins to integrate may ChatGPT account to the IDEs I use (Idea IntellJ and Apache Netbeans), I’m new developing pluggins so I haven’t take in consideration the APIs key, which is the only thing that is missing to test the first plugin. Could you suggest me any ideas or should I buy the key?

You can create your own API key for free at platform.openai.com. You will be able to make a few calls with models like 4.1-mini or 4o-mini for free.
Once you are ready to explore further, I suggest purchasing a small amount of credits so you can try the flagship models. No need to spend more until you know you need it.
