Bing has announced that they are developing a plugin system similar to GPT-Plus. Given the $20 monthly fee for a chance to use it, clearer communication from OpenAI would be greatly appreciated. An update or even broad timeline for a general rollout would be helpful. While I understand that safety is their top priority, better engagement with the paying community would be really nice to have. I’m assuming that this view isn’t new but am curious if more people paying for ChatGPT plus holds it this view.
From what I heard the plugins are a bit unstable and buggy still.
I think thats the bigger reason why its not rolled out much yet, rather than some safety.
Maybe also efficiency/resources its using.
Just my opinion though

That would make a lot of sense. but I would still love some communcation about that to better explain the wait.

I have access to GPT4 with web browsing, and can confirm it is very buggy. I’d say maybe 80% of attempts to read webpages fail. There’s many reasons when I ask GPT why and where it stopped, but its still a blocking issue.
