Billing schedule suddenly changed

Hi,

This month the billing schedule has changed from monthly to annually without anyone changing anything. When the e-mail was received regarding the annual payment not being succesful the Team Plan was still on Monthly. The annual invoice was also “due January 1, 1970”. It’s also not possible to change the plan back to manually as it gives the error “There was a problem updating your subscription”. Our workspace is going to get deactivated within 2 days unless we pay the annual price which is something we’re not capable of doing. Has anyone else had this issue? Posting here to raise awareness and the support taking 2-3 days before replying.

Same exact deal here. They changed us from monthly to annual ON the day of renewal. So by the time we logged in and tried to change it back we were not able to; same error message as OP. Now the account is “frozen” and we can’t change it or add people because of the outstanding balance of over 20k USD for the annual subscription which we didn’t select.
