It’s pretty maddening that the OpenAI team would let this “junior” bug linger for so long!!

Could we please get some help? This makes the website unusable.

Not ideal but I found a workaround (the combo Tab+Arrow Up didn’t work for me).

I click share, copy the link and paste it in a new tab. I have to do that after every new prompt of course.

Exactly the same here (10/10/24) Suddenly cannot scroll up or down if I have a screen open with a link sent from my phone.
Arrow up and down doesn’t work
Neither does opening in a new tab.

This is maddening! It has to be able to work on a desktop for so many reasons.

Only thing I can do presently is copy and paste into an email and then faff from there. Hardly worth bothering with unless this gets sorted

Since weeks now the same issue. Allow users to revert back then to old UI please. The old was fluent, better tables and nice styles.

I can’t scroll down once again, this is 2nd time it happened this week. What’s the issue

I figured it out at least it worked for me. I clicked on the share button, copied and pasted the link in a new tab and I clicked on “continue this conversation” then I was able to scroll. Hope this helps!

Same issue on IOS. What’s OpenAIs damn problem? Fix your product ffs. Or are you doing this on purpose to sell new IPhones? Useless company

Same issue for me, on a Mac with Safari. I found a work around, not ideal, but highlight some text in the chat with your mouse pointer, press ‘shift’ and ‘option’ and the down arrow and you can scroll down (or up) in the chat window.

Nope. The key combo trick (tab + up arrow) didn’t work for me. And it looks Open AI does not monitor this forum for feedback at all. Or if they do, they sure don’t let us know.
We are being own tech support to each other, or maybe psychological support knowing that each of us is not the only one suffering from this.

Turn your page to read only mode by clicking the three lines beside the url and you should be able to scroll up and down
