Account Suspension Appeal & Tier 5 Restoration Request - High Volume Business User

Our Situation: We are a business with a substantial user base that relies heavily on OpenAI’s API services. We process a high volume of requests daily to serve our customers, and our operations depend on the enhanced rate limits provided by Tier 5 ($1,000+ monthly spend, 30+ days qualification period).

Recent Issues:

  1. Account Suspension: Our account was recently suspended without prior warning, which has severely impacted our ability to serve our users
  2. Unreturned Balance: Despite having funds in our account balance at the time of suspension, these have not been refunded even after we submitted a formal request
  3. Business Impact: The suspension has put our service delivery at serious risk, affecting our customer satisfaction and business operations

We understand that account reviews are necessary for platform security. However, given our established payment history and legitimate business use case, we respectfully request:

  1. Immediate Tier 5 Restoration: Rather than waiting through the typical week-long upgrade process, we need our tier restored urgently to resume normal operations

You will need to communicate all you know about org ID and login details.

After they have taken your money for free, with their own automated justifications, there is usually no positive resolution of an “appeal”. You must send a message that implores human staff review to not just get a bot response back that says “sorry”.
