Looking for information or contacts of persons developing components that are accessible for persons with disabilities. I’m a professor at the University of South Carolina and looking to find ways to make this more accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Are you looking for special kinds of disabilities or just generaly asking?
I mean e.g. for blind people there might be some speech to text solutions like whisper and polly… or you use e.g. telegram and a telegram bot that does speech recognition.
For people who need easier language you can prompt for it.
And I think I have even read something in combination of computer to brain interfaces… ahh, here:
