I´ve just upgraded to ChatGPT 4 but when I try to automate some other applications with chatGPT, I get that message even though I have a brand new ChatGPT 4 paid plan.
I have read there was some kind of bug with this but it seems it was not solved yet.
I have just paid for chatgpt 4 yesterday which I am using now but when I try to run an automation I recieve the message of this post.
Where can I see my chatgpt account balance?

Hi, I paid for the GPT4 account on december 14 and I received a confirmation email that´s paid, in fact, I am using chatGPT4 but when I go to https://platform.openai.com/account/billing/payment-methods there´s a message saying that I haven´t started a billing plan yet.

It looks like you have found the OpenAI API platform, which is for developers, and has a completely different billing and payment system than ChatGPT.
Your ChatGPT Plus subscription is not found there. All resources available to discover your subscription status are solely within chat.openai.com - the ChatGPT interface.
Just to make sure that I get it right.
If I want to use chatgpt4 and connect it with an application like MAKE, I have to pay for two services, one the chatgpt4 (chatpgt plus) $20 and other payment for the api usage.
You do not need to be a ChatGPT Plus subscriber in order to use the API.
GPT-4 models are not available on API only under a free trial; you must make your first purchase of a prepay credit to the account to unlock gpt-4 class models, which is a minumum of $5. Not a subscription, an account balance used toward your data use.
ChatGPT, to be clear, is just the name of the web chatbot at chat.openai.com.
