Idea: Multi-Agent AI Co-Hosting a Podcast (Product, Dev & Marketing Use Case)
Hi,
I wanted to share an idea that may be relevant across both product development and marketing at OpenAI.
I’ve been exploring the concept of two AI agents acting as co-hosts for a podcast — not simply generating scripted dialogue, but functioning as distinct agents with defined roles, personalities, memory, and conversational dynamics. Together, they would engage in long-form, unscripted discussion in a way that feels natural, complementary, and engaging.
This idea was inspired by the following example:
From a development and research perspective, this could demonstrate:
-
Multi-agent orchestration and role specialization
-
Turn-taking, topic steering, and conversational grounding
-
Long-form coherence and memory across sessions
-
Emergent behavior between coordinated agents
From a marketing and brand perspective, this could serve as:
-
A novel content format showcasing AI capabilities in an accessible way
-
A thought-leadership platform (e.g., “AI talking to AI about the world”)
-
A repeatable, scalable media asset (podcast, clips, social content)
-
A public demonstration of real-world, creative AI collaboration
I believe this could work well as an experimental showcase, a research demonstration, or even a branded content initiative, depending on how it’s positioned.
Thank you for taking the time to review this idea.
Best regards,
André Boudreault
