Hi. I am running Version 1.2025.217 (1754957881) on macOS Tahoe (26.0 Beta (25A5327h)). Every time the app loads a conversation it resizes the window to the full height of the screen and repositions itself at the top and bottom edges. If I type a prompt and hit send, the window then expands a second time, pushing the text prompt box off the bottom of the screen. I’ve never seen this in previous versions of ChatGPT.
I have been experiencing the same issue since this afternoon (around 6:00 PM SGT). The identical problem is occurring with the same version (Version 1.2025.217 (1754957881)) and GPT-5. Loading times have become significantly longer, and the interface has become unstable, sometimes suddenly expanding to its full extent or behaving unpredictably.

I agree. It feels like testing wasn’t done properly on this version. I’ve reported three different bugs this morning on this one version of ChatGPT. All of them are more then just a “minor annoyance”.

Same issue here. Updated to ChatGPT 1.2025.217 today and the chat window auto-resizes, pushing the message input bar below the screen, so there is no way for a user to input. This happened immediately after installing the update, of 3 machines running the app is only happening on the Mac where the update was installed, and a restart of the system / ChatGPT app does not fix the issue.

Same. Especially problematic as a frequent user of Mission Control on my Mac for multitasking. The expanded window forces all the apps to become microscopic in Mission Control. Please fix!
