UI repainting loses chats (with screenshot)

Version 1.2025.217 (1754957881)

Related to the bug reported earlier ( Window resizes automatically to push text prompt box below the screen - #3 by sdfgsdfg ), when you get the window to the point it’s misbehaving and drawing below the screen, it’s possible to then corrupt the left pane.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Wait for the window to expand past the screen boundary.

  2. Mouse over the left panel.

  3. Pull to refresh (two-fingers swipe down) and release.

What you will see is one of three things:

  • Sometimes you get everything.
  • Sometimes you get nothing (see screenshot)
  • Sometimes you get nothing in the top part of the pane, but some chats appear in the lower 1/3rd to lower 1/4th of the pane.

I’m experiencing the same issue. Team, please look into this as soon as possible.

The new version from last night (version 1.2025.218 (1755045646)) fixes this issue. Marking it as resolved.

However, a new bug has appeared (see Resizing the window on macOS causes old chats to randomly appear/disappear (with video showing the bug))
