I expected that they would have opened up submissions again by now, but there’s been nothing.
I suppose plugins will soon become a thing of the past. Has this been confirmed? I’ve noticed that some plugins have already disappeared from the plugin store. Does anyone have more information to share?
I saw the mention that GPTs will supersede the Plugin store (here) but I don’t think that means they will go away, because while you can host an OpenAI schema in an action, some actions still call on plugins that are hosted where environmental variables such as API keys are encrypted server-side, compared to uploaded them for encryption within the GPTs configuration. I would guess these will co-exist somehow, even after GPTs get published to a new GPT store.
