Where did my ChatGPT projects go?

I was able to see Projects in the ChatGPT app for Mac. I did it with Version 1.2026.119, which is the latest. Did you try this?

This is really worse what happen here with the normal chat-history and the related projects. It was so helpful with the connectivity to vscode and other apps directly on the macOS desktop app while reaching all my projects. Thanks for the hint to install the classic app via homebrew here in this thread. But on the same app I can’t use the models, which are available in my business-account and now I’m getting locked into “auto” with the classic-app. This is much slower, is pushing me into endless promt-loops, forward/backwards developing without any reason based on less capacity. @OpenAI_Support please sort this mess asap!

Latest classic build is 1.2026.183. If it is working for you, stay on it and don’t try an an update until the issue got fixied…

My version is newer and I don’t see the projects. My App is the ChatGPT Classic.

Hi @Tim_Bledsoe, reinstalling original ChatGPT from here worked for me - https://persistent.oaistatic.com/sidekick/public/ChatGPT_Desktop_public_latest.dmg

That’s why you don’t update immediately and wait a week

I’m aware this doesn’t sound logical, but I rebooted my Mac, reloaded the new ChatGPT app and now my Codex project’s chats are showing up. Does this work for anyone else? Did they update the app?
