so i downloaded the chagpt app to my desktop and i’ve been using Codex app. It has been working perfectly fine, until i gave it a prompt that i do understand now may have been a bit too much and it overloaded Codex. anyways, now it just shuts down when i open Codex, it’ll open for a split second then just shut down. i have tried terminating, repairing and resetting it, still nothing. I am now in contact with support, but i’m guessing they wont reply to me for a while so i am now here!
I have the same issue. Tried updating, uninstalling, reinstalling. It opens for about a second. I see my projects, chats, etc then it just closes.

You are welcome to discuss Codex issues on the forum, however the official place to report and track them is the GitHub issue tracker for OpenAI Codex.
Currently there are several Discourse topics and many more Codex Issues tracking such issues.
Try searching the existing GitHub issues for a match. If you cannot find one, then open a new issue with as much detail as possible.
If you find an issue that matches your problem, consider adding a 
reaction on the GitHub issue page as reactions on GitHub help the developers gauge impact and prioritize work.
