What happened to free trials on Stripe? (mods don't mod me I need dev help)

If anyone else uses Stripe please chime in…

recently they updated their site and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to set a free trial on a subscription. Even when i type in “trial” on the top search bar in their UI - it yields nothing. I’m using stripe firebase extension - and the docs on that are pretty small but even in my Stripe dashboard I can’t figure out how to add a free trial to a normal subscription. A few months ago this was easy - now they’ve updated their site and I’m lost.

Can anyone help?

The answer was actually if you’re on the stripe dashboard, and you add a product - the free trial option doesn’t show up.

You have to create a product from the billing tab, and then it gives you the option…

Ridiculous.
