Unexpected GPT version update notice

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with my Custom GPT. A message keeps appearing at the bottom of the chat saying, “New version of GPT available - Continue chatting to use the old version, or start a new chat for the latest version,” even though I haven’t updated my GPT. Why is this happening?

I saw the same thing happening last night with my cGPTs. I’m guessing they’re doing something on the backend, and it’ll resolve itself at some point.

I met the same problem months ago. Maybe openai is doing something test. It will be ok laterly!

After a month, the problem still hasn’t been fixed. It’s really annoying because I have large fonts in my browser due to vision problems, and this extra message makes the chat window smaller. How is it possible that this bug hasn’t been sorted out in a month?

Unfortunately, this is still an issue. Even a single interaction will trigger the “New version of GPT available” prompt:
