I have not been able to login for 4 days Error Below:

same issue, when is this getting resolved - paid for platform with no support

same issue, gmail did not receive any code

This seems to be an issue for me as well. I seem to be getting the emailed verification code on my iMac mail but not on my phone. I actually used a code sent to my iMac to log into ChatGPT on my phone but still getting nothing in my iPhone mail. I’m sure the fix is obvious to most but it has my feeble brain in a virtual tizzy. Thanks.

I am having this issue for the past 2 days and have no ability to use ChatGPT. Anyone from OpenAI monitoring this discussion?

Looks like I;m going to have to ask my credit card company to dispute charges from OpenAI and set up a new user with a different email :man_shrugging:

After spending over 12 hours researching this issue, reading every relevant Reddit thread, watching countless YouTube videos, and even opening a ticket with OpenAI, I finally found a solution that I hadn’t seen mentioned anywhere else. I’m not sure why this issue was marked as resolved, because it’s clearly still affecting users.

My account is tied to a custom domain rather than a personal Gmail or Outlook address. I use a business email hosted via PrivateEmail, since I purchased my domain through Namecheap. If you’re in a similar situation, here’s what ultimately worked for me:

I created a Google Workspace account for my domain and updated my DNS records to use Gmail (you can use their 14-day free trial). I assumed that switching to Gmail or Outlook might improve deliverability of the verification code email, since many users report these emails getting blocked by certain providers. However, even after switching to Gmail, I still wasn’t receiving the code.

The real solution was using the “Continue with Google” option at the bottom of the login screen. This bypassed the verification code step entirely. After logging in successfully, I canceled the Google Workspace trial and reverted my domain’s email back to its original provider.

Hope this helps someone else in the same situation

I have the same issue now.
