Unable to receive verification code email for ChatGPT | help.openai.com doesn't work

same for me email never arrives

Paying for a Pro account and cannot login. $200 per month for this account and unable to login. For days now, I haven’t received any of the email verification codes. I can get other emails, just not those. Ironic.

It’s unbelievable that this discussion is almost a month old. Support doesn’t respond, this forum is useless, and the issue persists. Emails after dozens of attempts, only arrive by chance and about 5 hours late. I’ve been unable to log in for two weeks, and as the sole administrator, I haven’t been able to reload credits (API). Is the only option really going to be creating a new account?

Update:Thank the post of puravida, now i can login in when using the VPN with StarLink (why?).
The OTP code arrived very promptly in that way.

Suddenly also have this issue. Tried Chrome and Edge. Used incognito. Nothing works. Email never arrives and it just says it failed to send.

I got logged out in the middle of using ChatGPT with message “session expired”. Then it required me to enter OTP to re-login, but kept giving error: “Failed to send email OTP”. I got completely locked out of my account for a couple days and couldn’t even contact support or post message here, as it requires you to login.
A few days later I was able to login again as it didn’t ask for OTP anymore.
Very frustrating experience for a paid service.

I subscribe to ChatGPT Plus. I have dual auth enabled. I have been unable to login for the past 7 days. When prompted for a verification code - no verification code is sent to my email. Even if I request to “resend” email - no verification email with code arrives in my email. I have tried various browsers with the same results. Just as a test I also requested to reset password and no email was received. I’ve checked all spam and junk mail - nothing has been received. Other social media platforms dual auth is working and my email is operational. This appears to be an issue on the OPENAI outgoing email server/filter. Please advise.

Same here. Login doesn’t work. Verification emails need a few hours.
Trying that lately sended code error message states code invalid.
Now it’s not possible for me to download the invoice for this paid service.
Very very very poor service for paying users.

As a paying subscriber, this is disheartening. I am unable to log into the service for which I am paying a monthly fee. When does someone from support get involved? Please advise…!

You won’t get any responses, support, or solutions. It’s been 3 weeks for me, and 2 months since this discussion began (an issue that had already happened before and is happening again).

This is the response I received from support more than a week after sending multiple messages:

A team fully aware of an issue but unable to resolve it after 2 months, that’s what incompetence looks like.

My suggestion to all of you, and anyone who comes across this thread in the future, switch to serious alternatives like Claude or Google Gemini. You’ll thank me later.

I had the same problem and today i got the verification code, perhaps it’s solved for everyone.

Tried again today. Email took 30 minutes.
Error message: “You entered an incorrect code. Please try again.”
This means I am not able to manage our company account. Termination is also not possible.

I second previous complains. It’s been one week at least that I cannot log in to my account because I do not receive the OTP.

I can’t login to new devices. The verification email never arrives.

Im also having this issue, not received a code in 2 weeks, Ive tried this several times a day.
