Unable to receive verification code email for ChatGPT | help.openai.com doesn't work

No, I’m having issues. The emails are NOT coming in and I’m on the paid Plus plan. There needs to be a “get verification another way” open. This is crazy!

I’m having same problem for last 3 days.

My company bought this workplace plan and I used my company domain for logging in.

It came with a message about Verification code through my email address.

That time I got that mail after 7 hours!

After that today I’m getting a same problem which makes me crazy.

From yesterday I clicked “resend the code” more than 1,000 times but nothing came through on my email box!

Sorry, but I’m still having a same problem. No verification mail comes in my mail box despite 1,000 times clicks of “email resend”

It is NOT resolved. I have been trying to change my pw for days.

December 23, same, email not sent.
And by the way to write THIS email they ask for authentication. So….they see me but not enough for the rest…

As previous comments I also received 10 emails at the same time for a verification after the issue was resolved.

However, until now whenever I try to log in the verification code via my email is required and still the email doesn’t come to my mail box.

Still I have a problem logging in though…

Same issue for me. I had 2 codes and was just told there was an error.
Nothing in Spam and they also take ages to arrive. It’s possibly a timeout error, so perhaps the time lapse should be longer? That might be one reason.

My email server logged the following lines before rejecting an email from OpenAI:

DMARC policy violated due to DKIM domain ("mandrillapp.com") not belonging to the same parent domain as the from address field domain ("tm.openai.com").
DMARC policy violated due to SPF domain ("mandrillapp.com") not belonging to the same parent domain as the from address field domain ("tm.openai.com").

This issue impacts email servers with strict anti-spam security since they enforce DMARC checks rigorously. OpenAI’s support chat suggested relaxing my email server’s security settings, but that’s not feasible because it would open the door for spoofed emails to get through.

To fix this problem, OpenAI’s administrators need to make sure the DKIM and SPF records properly align with the ‘From’ address domain (i.e., ‘tm.openai.com’).

Updated on 2024-12-25: It’s not improving. My email server has stopped logging any attempts to deliver emails from openai.com. All other email senders work perfectly fine.

The access code is not coming, it is also not in spam, all cookies have been cleared, please help.

Hi , Same issue ( verif code not recieved ) since a week now .
No help either through CHATGPT support.
I can’t log in and I’m on the Plus plan.

I’m also unable to receive the verification code email to log in. I’m a ChatGPT plus subscriber - is the current outage impacting this?

Same here PAID account, cannot login. We did not received the OTP e-Mail

No, same issue over a week now.

I have the same issue. When I log in, the system asks for a verification code that was sent to my email address, but I didnt get an email.

I can’t log into Chat GPT. After entering my username and password, a verification code is sent to my email address. However, I don’t get these emails. They’re not in my junk folder either.

This problem does not seem to be resolved. I am having the problem now. I am not receiving a verification email. I have asked to resend 3 times.

Auth code emails as well as new account invite emails are not being received. I have tried sending to gmail account and private mail server without success.

Exactly same here. Stop receiving any mails after several failed attempt.

Tried again three days later, and I am still not able to receive the verification email with the code. I have, of course, checked spam filters. This means that I cannot sign in to my paid account. I hope this is being worked on.

I’m also affected by this and can’t login since the introduction of the verification code. My organization is not permitting the e-mails to even make it through the Exchange server due to the rule denials. This is very unfortunate.
