Unable to login using the Android App

I did some steps but can’t confirm which one trigged the fix.
My device is rooted, I did the following:

  1. Downloaded “Play Integrity Fix” module from GitHub (look for “PlayIntegrityFix” by Chiteroman on google) and installed it throught Magisk (You have to have Zygisk activated beforehand)
  2. Clear cache and data for the following apps: Google Play Services, Google Play Store, Google Services Framework and ChatGPT
  3. Rebooted the phone

That took care of the problem. You can try step 2 and 3 if you’re not rooted, hopefully it works.

Thank you for sharing this, was driving me mad.

I did these steps and worked on a rooted android 12.

The Play Integrity fix Magisk module plus clearing play services and play store did it. Fresh uninstall and reinstall of the chat gpt app too.

I immediately noticed a difference because now play store said device is certified. Before it did not.

Although on a previous release it would still work.

I struggled an hour tring to fix, I’ve enabled the Google VPN, in Android 14, and it fixed the login error…

  1. Clean all cookies and cache from your browser(s).
  2. Clean all data from the ChatGPT app.
  3. RESTART your phone.
