Trusted Access for cyber failed multiple times

Hi .

I’m a security researcher and I’m already approved by Anthorpic’s CVP .

I tried to verify to myself under https://openai.com/index/trusted-access-for-cyber/

With a Valid and clear national ID Card, but each times, it’s quite weird that I’m getting the “Could not verify your identity” error, I tried multiple times and I’m sure I’m getting the photo correctly.

Anyone had the same problem who was able to solve this issue? Any workarounds ?

I appreciate OpenAI support to take a look into this problem .

Thanks.

I had the same issue. I’d be interested to see if this gets resolved

That’s actually quire weird, because I used the same verification scheme to verify myself for different purposes using the same ID card online. I saw around the openai community that many people faced the same problem, I hope they would be able to solve the issue. Anything from @OpenAI_Support please ?

What’s I’m getting as support email responses are a bunch of repetitive emails which seems to be AI generated, although the sender has a human name. The support is quite weird and didn’t help me to find the real issue so far.

That’s quite an unfortunate thing. I don’t expect such support from a big tech company like OpenAI. Taking the full decision of the verification with AI is not deterministic and has the potential to poses various false results. This is like an open-ended loop … I hope someone from technical @OpenAI_Support team can check where actually this happens and what are the ways to fix this for a lot of users who are complaining about the same issue .

Finally after buying an official Yubiko hardware key I am still stuck.

I don’t know how to continue. I am totally stuck. @OpenAI_Support

I would really appreciate it if @OpenAI_Support could look into this issue and let us know how it can be resolved.

If there are bugs or unexpected issues in the verification system, it’s important that they are identified and fixed so affected users can complete the verification process and continue using ChatGPT with Trusted Access for Cyber.

Thanks for looking into this.

I also did the same today, no luck!

Practically its an open ended issue that seems @OpenAI_Support is reluctant to help with it .

Mine is also eligible. Its highly likely a bug in OpenAI verification system and seems not to be working as expected .

Also, support email is a dumb chatbot that only repeat things without giving solutions to resolve the issue .

Whatever checks they’re doing is completely messed up. I even reached the point where I could send my ID and take a pic of myself.

Result: “we received this module and will get back to you”.

No idea what that means, they never reached back to me and I don’t even know the reason why they should have.

After being accidentally flagged (mind you I have very little coding experience, all the prompts I ran were generated by ChatGPT itself) I am unabel to run the verification process at all, support was kind but not very helpful (despite delays in responses having em dashes only made me think perhaps this is a common/strict issue and instead of being told no you get told maybe)
