I’d like to suggest a couple of improvements to Projects that would make a big difference to my workflow.
Move Chats to Projects on Desktop
Currently, it’s possible to move chats into Projects on mobile, but not on desktop.
Please enable the ability to move existing chats into Projects from the desktop version as well.
MCP Tools Don’t Work Inside Projects
Another issue I’m running into is that MCP tools don’t seem to function inside Projects.
For example, I can use @Figma in a regular chat with no problem, but when I try to use it inside a Project, it doesn’t work.
This breaks the workflow, especially since Projects are meant to group related work and tools together. MCP integrations should work consistently in both regular chats and inside Projects.
Why This Matters
I use Projects frequently for my work, so these limitations slow things down and force unnecessary context switching. Having full feature parity (chat moving + MCP tools) between regular chats and Projects on desktop would make Projects much more powerful and practical.
