Thumbs up/down appear = Conversation used for training?

I switched from a ChatGPT Teams to a newly created Pro account. I don’t want my data in training so I had always switched off “Improve the model for everyone”.
But in Teams, there were no :-1:t2::+1: buttons. But now in Pro there are.
I’m worrying my data could be used for training.
Do the thumbs buttons indicate that they use the data for training?

Hi @o.auth

OpenAI may use your data to train models if you give permission from your settings. Please visit following link:

Disable Model Training | HELP

Thank you, but that’s what I already know. Let me rephrase it:

A question for all Plus or Pro users who have disabled training:
Are the thumbs up :+1: or thumbs down :-1:t2: symbols still visible for you?

Thank you! I’d really appreciate your input – it’d be a big help.

Yes. although we toggle as OFF the model improvements, the thumbs and thumbs down symbols still will be visible.

For example I toggled it as OFF, but it is there:

On Help page there is no more clear detail how feedback is used on ChatGPT UI, but about Sharing model feedback through the API, there is clear explaination, and I think it works same on ChatGPT:

When clicked, this will give the user the option to share feedback and the conversation up to that point (including prompts, outputs, and files uploaded) with our feedback systems.

But it is just an option.
If you don’t send feedback, your data will not be used for training.
