Hello OpenAI Community,
I want to start by expressing my appreciation for the incredible work done by OpenAI in developing tools like DALLE. It’s truly a game-changer in creative design.
As an Arabic-speaking user, I’ve been experimenting with DALLE to create images that include Arabic text. While the tool is excellent overall, I’ve noticed some challenges when generating Arabic text:
Challenges I’ve Encountered:
-
The font used for Arabic text is often unclear and hard to read.
-
There’s limited (or no) control over the selection of Arabic font styles (e.g., Naskh, Thuluth).
-
Text alignment and direction are sometimes incorrect for right-to-left scripts.
Suggestions for Improvement:
-
Introduce a variety of Arabic fonts to accommodate different design needs.
-
Enhance alignment and text direction for better support of right-to-left scripts.
-
Provide text customization options such as size, color, and font style.
I believe that implementing these features would significantly benefit Arabic-speaking users and broaden DALLE’s appeal globally.
Thank you for considering these suggestions. I’m looking forward to seeing how DALLE continues to evolve and improve.
Best regards,
