Here’s my first clip—a visual representation of today’s launch, designed to be viewed in a loop.

Inside a sunlit, modern conference hall at an OpenAI developer event, a small group of casually dressed software developers—wearing conference lanyards and holding laptops—stand near a projection screen displaying slides of OpenAI’s tools and APIs. One developer, with tousled hair and rectangular glasses, raises his arm and, in a curious yet respectful tone, asks: ‘But what about the API?’ The others pause and turn to listen, their body language reflecting a moment of shared technical anticipation.
Reminds me of this time at newspaper corporate HQ… big meeting of all papers across the world… They were bragging about their new banner ads, etc.
When it got to the question/answer part, I stood up and bravely asked about Google text ads and whether they were worried. They kinda laughed at me and blew it off saying their banner ads were much better, but here we are decades later! Heh…
Though I think Google, Microsoft, Amazon, et al will be dethroned by OpenAI soon-ish?
DALL-E now is powered by a clone stamp tool; you ask for 100 ducks, you get 100 copies of five ducks. The people in a scene look better, though. Better at hiding their cartoon fingers with one pose?
