I’ve got a few comparisons with exact prompts if you want to see 'em, I can dig through files to find them!

You should notice the “seed” too - so that if you send exact prompt, you can get exact model again…

How do you know which seed is used?

Ask it at forehand? After the creation? Or let it “stamp / write” in the lower corner of the image itself?

You can’t select it or turn it on or off with ChatGPT. We’ve guessed that’s what they’re doing to get the exact same image with the exact same prompt.

Any generation via ChatGPT Plus DALLE3 will just have the one seed for all generations… at this time.

Okay, what I get the #seed is always 5.000

Across all devices, accounts and prompts.

So you always get the exact same image with the exact same prompt, but you can “force” slight alterations by adding a random string of text to the end of the prompt.

The longer this post-fix, the more the image wil differ.

E.g. a monkey with glasses ABC123 and a monkey with glasses ABCDEF123456 and a monkey with glasses ABCDEFGHI123456789 will create more differences (because the prompt itself acts as an hash for the generated image).

Yeah, I’d put real words or tokens in to change it as the ABC123 might throw off the resulting generation? Might be something to test.
