SOLVED - Can’t get Agent mode to run in any project

Hello, I’m a plus user, haven’t used Agent mode in any projects for couple of months, I attempted to run it in a project chat on my ipad pro, but it fails and says “it looks like we’ve hit the maximum contact window before completing the profile update on the website” but then I tried to go to my pc and then my mac but on all of my devices, no matter which one, if I go into any project chat or start a new one, if I select Agent Mode, the arrow greys out and no prompt can be sent. I’ve tried this on multiple devices and it says I have 37 left. I only seem to be able to get agent mode working on my ipad app but not in any browser, and then it fails and I’m still stuck wasting credits. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it?

EDIT: GOT IT TO WORK BUT…You just have to start a new one if it’s greyed out, the existing chat won’t allow you to do it when it gets close to limits perhaps? I tried a lot of things, I tried to use it on my ipad app again, have it fail, quickly refresh the desktop browser tab and then it would appear as available, and no longer greyed out, that’s just to use an agent. I think it’s specific to if you try it in the app and it fails and then try it on the web and it’s greyed out. You have to do extra work to close it out in the app I guess.

Hey @Phreakwenci, I can see why it looks confusing 😅 In Agent mode, the agent can only use the Apps you’ve enabled. If you’re trying this in an older conversation, Web Search might not be turned on automatically. Try clicking the Apps box (the four-circle icon) right next to Agent mode and enable Web Search from there. That usually fixes it right away.

Same problem for a while now, I tried to enable the web search and use a new chat, but it still can’t work.

even on new chat I can’t use agent mode when I still have 40 this month

I have the same exact issue right now. Unless I select a connector, I cannot enter any information into agent mode. The prompt will not fire, no matter what new session I am in, in project or out of project. I can confirm that it will use the browser if I do select another tool, which is confusing as hell. Can we get some clarity here?
