Solutions for overcoming outrageous api costs

I’m sure most of you have seen or read about someone coming up with a great idea and said to yourself why couldn’t I have thought of something like that? I’m almost 50. I’ve been designing building things for little over a year with little success. Seems I always am a day late developing does not pay my bills so while I do my day job, I daydream of ideas Waze to quit my day job and do something that I truly enjoy and be successful at it and being able to help people in the long run.. the ultimately you wanna love your job so much and it doesn’t seem like a job anymore right anyway I came up with a great idea. I’m super excited and I haven’t slept for two days because of it. I’m hoping by writing this, somebody can point me in the right direction. I have a brilliant idea to help with our ridiculous fees on API calls. And I’m afraid to tell anybody for that somebody will take this idea and steal it from me. Can anybody please give me directions to the correct steps on who I should talk to what I should do about it. Because I have one question that I need answered and then I can start building what I want but the one question that I have if I ask anybody will give it away, so how do I find the answer to that what I’ve looked online and can’t find anything about or anything that will answer my question. I’m in limbo. Any ideas?

Have you tried asking an AI model your question that can’t be answered?

It can be in the form:

How can I programmatically extract document contents myself?
How can I set up my own semantic search vector store database to avoid fees?
How can I implement local AI models to avoid fees?
How can I set up my own python execution environment to avoid fees?
How can I virtualize OS snapshots for code execution to avoid fees?
How can I manage conversation lengths to avoid fees?
How can I orchestrate calls to the right cost/performance models to avoid charges?
How can I delegate transitory use to organization services that bill not for computational expense but for storage, and partition between a collection of organizations each with their own free threshold.

There is no great idea to be had, because the ultimate fee avoidance is to drop a million dollars worth of your own servers into global colocation.

Its hard to judge if you have a good idea, because you haven’t told us what it is.

I’m sure everyone here would love to reduce their API costs
