If you’re getting the error message in Sora:
“You can only generate 1 image or video at a time. Upgrade to generate more images or videos at the same time”
even though you’re not currently generating anything, this usually happens when a previous image/video request got stuck in the queue.
Here’s how I fixed it:
Step 1. Clear the stuck job in the queue

Go to your queue/history panel and delete any unfinished or errored image generations.

In many cases, this alone will reset Sora and you can start creating again.
Step 2. Clear browser cache if it still persists

If deleting the queue didn’t solve it, open your browser settings.

Clear Cached images and files (no need to clear cookies or history).

Refresh the page and try generating again.
This solved the issue for me immediately. Hopefully it helps anyone else stuck with the same error!
