Hi OpenAI Team,
I’m writing as a paying ChatGPT user and the founder of an early-stage business.
I would genuinely love to use ChatGPT Business, but there is one problem:
There is only one of me. Me, myself and I.
Solo founders are running real businesses, but we don’t always have employees yet. I think OpenAI has an opportunity to create a ChatGPT Founder / Solo Business plan for that stage.
And I don’t mean Business Lite.
I mean everything ChatGPT Business already offers, available to one human seat, with additional tools built specifically for solo founders.
FULL BUSINESS. ONE HUMAN SEAT.
A founder should still get the full Business environment: privacy and security, workspace tools, Work, integrations/connectors, company knowledge, higher business usage and the ability to add real employees later.
The difference is simply that the company currently has one human.
THEN ADD AI WORK AGENTS
This is where I think it could become genuinely exciting.
Instead of founders having to build everything from scratch, give us ready-made AI Work Agents for functions like:
Strategy
Operations
Finance
Marketing
Sales
Customer Experience
Research
Creative
Admin
Then let us customise them — their role, instructions, tone, company knowledge, permissions, files, connected apps, workflows and approval requirements.
Essentially:
Build your AI company around you.
AND PLEASE — NOT JUST MORE CHAT WINDOWS
I would love this to be visual.
Not a sidebar full of bots and conversations.
I’m imagining agents that feel more like actual digital team members — almost like business Sims, but useful.
You open your company workspace and can visually see your departments and agents, click into each person, understand what they are responsible for, assign work and see how the company fits together.
Give us professional ready-made agents, but let us rename them, remove them, duplicate them, customise how they work and create our own.
Different businesses could have different setups.
A creative agency might have a Creative Director, Brand Strategist, Account Manager and Finance Agent.
An e-commerce business might have Marketing, Inventory, Customer Service and Operations.
The founder remains in control, with approval required for sensitive actions such as publishing, sending external communications, purchases or important record changes.
EVERYTHING BUSINESS OFFERS — PLUS THE FOUNDER LAYER
So the proposition becomes:
Everything ChatGPT Business already provides

I’m not asking for Business tools for almost nothing. I would happily pay a sensible business price.
I simply don’t want to pay for an imaginary second employee to access them.
Solo founders may only have one person behind the desk, but we’re still doing the work of multiple departments.
Founder should not mean Business Lite.
We may be small today.
That doesn’t mean we’re building something small.
