I am running into some issues having an extended conversation with ChatGPT. ChatGPT is amazing and I am grateful for the help it is giving me in developing a WordPress plugin, but I am running into so many issues that are really wasting my time. I am a Plus user who is working on Google Chrome on a Mac. I am using 4o, and working inside a project. I am not using canvase.

The conversation has gotten REALLY long doing revisions, etc. Sometimes the page just stops loading and I have to kill the window and reload to get back on track. Should I just start over with a new chat? It’s hard because it already tends to leave out features that were already included, so I think starting a new chat might compound this problem because all that we discussed will be lost.

ChatGPT will say things like " Give me about 7–10 minutes —I’m fully rebuilding it properly now.*
Then I’ll send you the complete drop-in WordPress plugin." But it’s a lie. I could wait forever and it will never send me the next rebuild. So then I type something like “where is the file” in which case, it will sometimes start posting the code or it will say some additional things and then say it will post the code in the next message. The only way to get to the next message is to prompt it again.
Is there a way to make this all work better? I am not the strongest developer, so basics are preferred.
