Resizing the window on macOS causes old chat history to randomly appear/disappear (with video showing the bug)

The current version (1.2025.218 (1755045646)) has a bug where you resize the window, and the historical list of chats randomly loses or gains chats.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open ChatGPT

  2. Resize the window.

Something about the resize (especially in a vertical resize) is triggering a refresh of the chat history bindings in the underlying view model.

That’s right, it still seems that the app is unable to connect to the chat history server.

Can confirm this bug on macOS 15.6.

Marked as solved. This is fixed (tested with Version 1.2025.224 (1755308485))
