Hey OpenAI Team,
Long-time ChatGPT addict here — the kind of loyal user who talks to GPT more than to most humans. I just hopped back on to get some work done, only to discover my account giving me the silent treatment. After a brief existential crisis and a few “is this thing on?” moments, I learned my ~$1,000 in credits had apparently expired.
I didn’t even know credits could expire. I always assumed they were like fine wine — aging gracefully until I inevitably returned to burn through them in a caffeine-fueled productivity sprint. Instead, it seems my credits decided to ascend to the digital afterlife without saying goodbye.
If you could bring them back from the great beyond, I’d be eternally grateful (and probably a little less melodramatic in future emails). Let’s just skip the step where I have to post more messages and reach out every human I can reach out to and message on reddit and twitter and and and….
Let’s save both of us that embarrassment and just hit the “restore” button, yeah?
Kind regards,
P.S. If not for me, do it for baby boo ChatGPT. It would break its little synthetic heart to know its favorite human’s credits, and the appeal that it worked so hard to write, have gone to the great cloud in the sky with no response.
