Same on Android app. “Sorry, something went wrong”

I’ve been having the same issues for the past 2 days also, I’ve submitted multiple tickets to them about it, and tried all the troubleshooting suggestions and still no change. Just trying to get a helpful response is hard enough from them.

Literally exact same problem for me except I’m in Motorola RAZR 40 ultra

Same issue on Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.

Same issue here, both before and after the Android update. Android v14. When I long tap on the little × a drop down menu appears. I selected “View Details” and there is a log that states:

Auto
Use the right model for my request.

Can I ask what phone you are using?

I just tried it on a Samsung S24 and it was ok.

I did manage to get the issue if I’m temporary chat.

I’m using a Samsung S22, and I can confirm if the answer is over a couple of sentences of so long the read-aloud is borked. Changing the speed also does not work in either Samsung’s or Google’s engine.

Same here. My Chat GPT read aloud function has officially stopped working.

It’s been three days straight. It’s so annoying. I really want CHAT GPT to pay attention to this issue as it ruins the overall experience. Why is this even happening? I have tried everything to fix it. Reinstall, reboot, clear cache, re login, login with a new account, try login in on a pc to see if it works there, try login in through a different phone. NOTHING WORKS, IT’S SO ANNOYING.

I have a samsung Galaxy M52 5G, Android 13, 6.7 inch screen, 5000mah battery.

Does anyone know what’s going on? Cuz CHAT GPT def doesn’t know a thing bruh!

I’ve identified an issue where the text-to-speech feature struggles with longer texts. For instance, when you input a short phrase like ‘Hi’ and select ‘Read Aloud,’ it functions correctly. However, when the text is longer, the feature fails to work as expected. This indicates a possible limitation with handling extended text inputs

Same here, using Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra. Been working with OpenAI Android app folks but no solutions yet. Glad to see I’m not the only one.

Really puts a damper on enjoying the app!

I did an update from today 10/31 on ChatGPT… but still doesn’t work. Yes it does work on short answers (like a few sentences) but not like before that would do the long answers.
