I’ve been running into a strange issue with ChatGPT Voice Mode while using Apple CarPlay.
Sometimes, when I start a voice conversation through CarPlay, the assistant voice changes unexpectedly. For example, on different occasions it has switched from my usual American-sounding voice to a British-sounding voice, and another time to a woman’s voice. I did not manually change the voice setting before this happened.
It seems random, but I’ve noticed it happening more often recently. I’m not sure whether this is a CarPlay-specific bug, a Voice Mode issue, or something related to the app not preserving the selected voice correctly when launching through CarPlay.
