I’ve been experiencing a recurring issue with Advanced Voice Mode in ChatGPT for about a week now. Previously, everything worked perfectly, but recently, after completing a response, the assistant sometimes repeats the exact same answer as if caught in a loop. I have to manually interrupt it to stop the repetition. The bug occurs in both: desktop(windows) and mobile app(android).
Interestingly, this issue appeared around the same time I received the new camera-sharing feature. I haven’t used this function, so it might just be a coincidence, but I wanted to mention it in case there’s a connection.
I’m based in the EU, in case that’s relevant for debugging.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? If so, have you found any workaround? I’d appreciate any insights, and hopefully, the OpenAI team can look into it.
I’ve a similar issue. Happened a couple of times in the last days without being too disturbing but today it got stuck multiple times stuck in a loop, repeating twice or even three times the exact same things. At some point it even started to answer its own questions. I didn’t experience this before.
Berkeley, California. Same here. Mine can answer new questions, but it only gets partway through the sentence then starts repeating the new answer. The Voice also starts fluctuating in tone becoming progressively more warped with every repetition. Why is this happening?
Also, what were y’all chatting with it about if you don’t mind me asking? I was asking its advice on how to communicate with my peers at work.
